Join us to explore the mountainous island of Kvaløya (lit. “Whale Island”), west of Tromsø, with its magnificent coastal scenery and several small breathtaking fjords. The island is famous for its endless mountains of different heights, raw Arctic landscapes and sandy beaches, inlets and charming villages. Kvaløya’s mountainous terrain offers spectacular scenery and character, which is different depending on the season of a year.

We have designed this tour for travelers coming to Tromsø to explore not only the city, but also to experience the area around with its epic nature. While driving the coastal roads of Kvaløya, be ready to spot local roaming wildlife like reindeer, moose, and a variety of seabirds. We will make several stops with scenic views along the way, taking memorable professional photos and selfies.

Our local Norwegian guides, who have explored the length and breadth of Kvaløya, will show you their favourite spots, tell stories behind the island and places you will visit. Moreover, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and hot beverages while looking out to the one of the fjords, mountains, beaches or the Norwegian sea. If you are brave enough, you can even dive into the cold sea.

We drive in a brand-new minivan, run this tour in a small group (7 guests maximum), make it family-oriented, and provide warm clothing and suitable footwear if necessary.
